The adidas Samba OG Collegiate Green adds a simple, retro-inspired colorway of Collegiate Green and Cloud White to the Samba OG silhouette.
Originally envisioned as a soccer shoe, this version of the Samba OG features a sleek silhouette with minimal padding. Cloud White covers the full-grain leather upper, while splashes of Collegiate Green decorate the large serrated 3-Stripes logo and the leather heel tab. The Collegiate Green’s rich green is reminiscent of varsity sports colors and gives the shoe a retro appeal. adidas branding decorates the tongue and insole, but, in our opinion, the ‘SAMBA’ lettering in gold foil is the stand-out feature.
Our experts like the light beige hue applied to the suede toebox overlay because it breaks up the purely Collegiate Green and Cloud White upper without distracting from the design.
