Nike introduced the Nike Air Zoom Alphafly Next% running sneaker in 2020 shortly after marathon runner Eliud Kipchoge helped show it off at the Vienna City Marathon in 2019. The Nike Air Zoom Alphafly Next% Watermelon (Women's) was one of the first pairs created solely in women’s sizes.
To create the upper for this Nike Air Zoom Alphafly Next%, Nike came up with a new Flyknit fabric called AtomKnit that is both steamed and stretched before it’s put in place to make this sneaker extremely lightweight and breathable. Nike also used a combination of eye-catching colors, including white, black, and red, to make the sneaker stand out.
But the best aspect of this shoe, in our expert opinion, is the jagged and ridged sole that is equipped with ZoomX technology and a pocket of Zoom Air toward the front of the sneaker. It gives it a unique appearance and also makes it an ideal running sneaker for casual runners and marathoners alike.
